TODAY.......

... I received a lovely sparkly parcel in the post ...

it has flown in from America and is my April Christmas swap block ..

how great is this xx ......AND I got a bonus block too..

I am feeling very lucky x I had NO appointments to take my parents to .. so into the sewing room I fled .... AND  managed to get a couple more blocks done on James's wall hanging ...

for small blocks they take a fair amount of time to get right xx All-in-all it was a GOOD day x

A good day's stitching for you but please don't set the last ones (fab) for my BOM, heh, heh!
Love the Christmas blocks too.
Have posted my EFFORT... 3rd try. Ooh I did struggle. Hope it's OK and thanks so much for my gem of a blue heart.

Lovely blocks and a very productive day's sewing. I had an Aha moment when I saw the three blocks together as I had been wondering why you had added that light piece to the block in your previous post.

Hi Diane (and followers)

Love the xmas blocks from America and all your stories from April. Have only just read them all as Craig and I have just returned home from a 2 week trip to South Australia. We drove approx 2360 miles in that time. I can only be thankful that we (and Sally and Blair) live in such a beautiful and green area of Australia. The western side of NSW and also most of South Australia are so dry. It has a beauty of it's own but I'm just not cut out to spend much time in that climate.

Lovely to catch up on your dogs, sewing, James and Josh and all the family news briefly here :-)
